New fast-charging location for e-vehicles in Vöcklabruck in operation
In Vöcklabruck, drivers can charge their electric cars at another public fast-charging station. The operator of fast charging infrastructure SMATRICS EnBW has set up the new location at the BILLA site at Max Planck-Straße 2 in Vöcklabruck.
"We are driving forward the mobility transition in Austria," says Thomas Landsbek, CEO of SMATRICS EnBW. "As the market leader in this area, we are making an important contribution to achieving the CO2 targets in the transport sector with our nationwide expansion of the fast-charging infrastructure."
Customers have four state-of-the-art charging points with a capacity of up to 300 kW at their disposal. Depending on the charging capacity of their vehicle, they can charge electricity for a range of 100 kilometers in just 5 minutes at these high-power charging points.
100 kilometers of range in just 5 minutes. This means you can conveniently charge your car for the next few days or until your next shopping trip while you shop. SMATRICS EnBW operates all of its fast charging points with 100 percent green electricity, including those in Vöcklabruck.
To this end, SMATRICS EnBW is continuing to expand the fast-charging infrastructure in Austria at a rapid pace, as here in Vöcklabruck. This is because fast charging is crucial in public spaces in order to meet the demand for charging options. This makes it easy for drivers to integrate charging into their everyday lives - even those without private charging facilities.
With currently more than 600 fast charging points at more than 170 locations throughout Austria, SMATRICS EnBW operates the largest nationwide fast charging network in Austria. SMATRICS EnBW is also working with well-known partners from various industries to further expand the network. The fast-charging locations complement the Austria- and Germany-wide EnBW HyperNetwork for drivers.
